On the occasion of the so-called "open letter",of an unknown sender, in which judges of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and prosecutors of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina are listed as signatories, judges of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a public statement yesterday in which they distances themselves, as it was emphasized, from the allegations made in the anonymous "open letter" which was sent on January 14th, 2021.

There is no signature, Perić confirmed

The statement indicates the rejection of any authorship of the said text, which, as pointed out in the statement, is evidenced by the handwritten signatures of the judges of the Court of B&H.

The court actually responded to an open letter requesting the resignation of President Ranko Debevec, stating that the judges of the Court of B&H were not behind it. Thus, the statement lists all the names of the judges who signed it. However, what is visible is that the letter was not signed by Judge Branko Perić, although the reaction of this judicial institution claims otherwise and his name is on the list.

Judge Perić also confirmed this information for "Avaz", saying that he did not sign anything and that he doesn not know how his name ended up on the list.

- I'm the only one who didn't sign this letter. And I see that everyone announced that I signed, but I didn't. It can be seen in the signatures that were published, that there is no my handwritten signature. I think that judges should not participate in that - says Perić.

When asked how it is possible that the Court mentioned his name in a statement, Perić said:

-I have no idea really, it is like some mistake. It is my opinion that this case should be resolved by the institutions. Let's react by the rules. They have a public relations department and there should be some procedure there. What do judges have to mess with and write petitions - says Perić.

We remind you that in an open letter from judges and prosecutors, from which the Court distanced itself yesterday, it is stated that President Ranko Debevec is fulfilling the wishes of ISA Director Osman Mehmedagić.

- It is well-known fact, your "good" relations as the President of the Court of B&H, Judge R.D., with the Director of the Intelligence and Security Agency of B&H, O.M., and thus his mentors, especially during the criminal prosecution of the Director O.M., investigation, indictment and trials. We all know that as the President of the Court of B&H, by abusing your position, you fulfill all wishes and orders, especially the abuse of authority of the director of ISA, O.M., especially when it comes to legalizing or concealing privatized and criminal activities of ISA and its shadow mentors – it is emphasized in the letter.

Compromising contact recordings

The letter then contains shocking details:

- Director of ISA O.M. blackmails You, President of the Court of B&H, Judge R.D.,with compromising recordings of your numerous cases of so-called "horseshoeing", with compromising recordings of contacts with proven associates of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad at the beginning of your term as President of the Court, and with compromising explicit recordings of you with minors, especially teenage girls, which Your tendency has been a well-known fact to us in the Court and the Prosecutor's Office of B&H for many years - the letter says.
