While coronavirus vaccination has begun in most European countries, B&H has not yet received a single dose of the rescue vaccine. The population is divided. Some believe that they should be vaccinated, others that they should not. There are also those prone to conspiracy theories.
The Archbishop of Vrhbosna, Cardinal Vinko Puljić, told "Avaz" what he thought about the vaccination against coronavirus, but also revealed whether he would receive the vaccine.
- As the public knows, I personally had coronavirus, and I survived for which I am grateful to God, and now I carry antibodies inside me. Therefore, I have no special need to get vaccinated urgently. It is normal to leave it to those who need it first, but when it's my turn, I am very ready to receive the vaccine - says Cardinal Puljić.
Asked whether he would do so publicly, Cardinal Puljić said:
- I would not expose myself in public, because I don't like the parade. I can tell everyone that they should be free to decide, but also to believe in science and receive the vaccine. But, first of all, it is necessary to procure the same and then organize the priorities.
