Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković announced that she would take legal actions against those who published false information and defamation in accordance with the law, saying that lately she has been too often the target of fake news and misinformation.

-It is clear to me that there are political centers that do not like B&H to be represented in the right way in Berlin, Vienna, Brussels or the White House. In that context, I see all untruths, including those denied by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and false claims that I was vaccinated in Croatia- said Turković.

She thinks that perhaps the time has come for B&H institutions, like many other countries in the European Union, to start dealing with the issue of a kind of hybrid war against B&H and its institutions and the deliberate placement of false information, often in the interest of malignant foreign influences.

-B&H and our citizens, as well as our economy, institutions and all patriots suffer consequences and damage due to numerous slanders, malicious and falsified information that certain media, often under political pressure and control, place. Media criticism is not a problem, but fake news is- Turković wrote on Facebook.
