B&H Court rejects to ban Novalić and Milićević from performing official duties

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina rejected the proposal of the Prosecutor's Office of B&H that the FB&H Prime Minister Fadil Novalić and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Jelka Milićević be banned from performing the duties of appointed officials.

Senka Nožica, defense attorney of the FB&H Finance Minister Jelka Milićević, confirmed for FENA that they had received a decision from the Court rejecting the proposal.

The Prosecutor's Office of B&H requested that the FB&H Prime Minister Fadil Novalić and Minister Milićević be banned from performing the duties of appointed officials until the first instance verdict is rendered in the respirators procurement trial that has begun recently. They also requested a ban on visiting official premises and meeting with certain persons and witnesses.

The prosecution charges Novalić and others with violating the law in the procurement of one hundred ventilators worth 10.5 million KM.
