On the occasion of the statements of the member of the Presidency of B&H, Željko Komšić, that SBB, allegedly in cooperation with HDZ, proposes that ethnic voting be introduced in the work of the Interdepartmental Working Group to amend the Election Law, SBB political director Anis Krivić commented.
- SBB reminds Mr. Komšić, a man who has been a member of the Presidency of B&H for 10 years, that according to the Constitution of the state headed by no law, not even the amendments to the B&H Election Law that are underway, it cannot and will not be adopted unless members of all three nations will vote in the House of Peoples of the PAB&H.
We understand Komšić's desire to avoid ethnic voting in the preparation and enactment of state laws, but that is not possible.
Mr. Munib Jusufović is a representative of the Bosniak Club in the Interdepartmental Group, not a party representative of SBB, and in his discussion he practically warned that it would not be possible to pass the law without the mentioned political, national or ethnic preconditions.
Instead of Komšić trying to score cheap points with his favorite populist methods, we are urging him to get constructively involved in changes to the B&H Election Law, which should bring stability and fair elections to the country.
By attacking Mr. Jusufović, it is obvious that they want to cover up the real desire not to adopt changes to the B&H Election Law, because only the existing one suits them because it allows them to come to power - said Krivić, it was announced from SBB.
