The Court of B&H accepted the proposal of the Prosecutor's Office of B&H and extended the detention of Josip Barić, a police officer of the SC MUP, who was arrested for obstructing the investigation in the case of the murder of Dženan Memić, for another month, the "Avaz" portal has learned.

According to the evidence of the Prosecutor's Office of B&H, on the fateful night of February 8th, 2016, Barić did not seize the bloody sweater of Alisa Mutap, a girl who was with Memić on the night when he suffered fatal injuries.

Prosecutor Dubravko Čampara said yesterday, explaining the custody motion, that the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina was working to identify new suspects and their accomplices, and stressed that this was a complex case in which the institutions of the system covered up, faked and hid evidence.

- This was done by the MUP of the Sarajevo Canton and the Prosecutor's Office of the Sarajevo Canton. Note that Zijad Mutap was in an organized criminal group superior to Barić. Witnesses are in fear. Yesterday we had a situation where a father who is fighting for the truth about the death of his child is being threatened with death - Čampara stated yesterday.
