The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the proposal of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and extended the custody of Zijad Mutap and Hasan Dupovac for another 25 days.
Detention was ordered because of the danger that the suspects could obstruct the investigation, conceal evidence and influence witnesses or accomplices while at large, as well as because their release would cause anxiety to the citizens.
In addition, the Court rejected the appeal of the lawyers of the arrested Alisa Mutap and Muamer Ožegović against the decision to order their detention.
Yesterday, the Prosecutor's Office of B&H announced that the investigation would be completed in the next 25 days and an indictment would be filed in the "Dženan Memić" case.
Zijad Mutap is the father of Alisa Mutap, who was with Dženan in Great Alley at the time he was attacked in Ilidža, and Hasan Dupovac is the former head of the Traffic Investigation Department of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of the Interior. They were arrested five months ago.
Prosecutor Ćazim Hasanspahić mentioned yesterday that this is an organized group which, in addition to Mutap and Dupovac, also includes police officers Josip Barić, Alisa Mutap and Muamer Ožegović, who are in custody, and members of the DKPT Nedžad Hrvat and Nebojša Veljović, who defend themselves from freedom.
- 20 mobile devices were confiscated, as well as a large number of laptops, computers, SIM cards used in the commission of criminal offenses. They communicated with each other and with others via mobile phones - said Hasanspahić.
He added that the hard drive on which the video surveillance of the Crystal Hotel in Ilidža was recorded was also confiscated. Receptionist Ožegović is suspected of deleting the recordings showing the passing by of Alisa Mutap and Dženan Memić through the Great Alley.
- From 16 cameras, the recordings that record the entrance from February 8 to 11, 2016 were deleted. All other recordings remained. Witnesses say that Zijad Mutap's vehicle also entered the Great Alley. They said that they reviewed the recordings even after the power outage and handed them over to Ožegović, who deleted them. An order was issued to examine the hard disk, seized mobile phones, SIM cards and computers - said prosecutor Hasanspahić.
