Members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) re-entered KCUS, the largest health facility in Bosnia and Herzegovina, this morning.
The inspectors of this agency are acting on the order of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo and it is about the continuation of activities from July 5th.
Yesterday, SIPA excluded documents from KCUS on the treatment of Palić and Hota, patients who died three months ago in this health institution under very strange circumstances.
The activities of this police agency are carried out under the supervision of the SC Prosecutor's Office, which is conducting an investigation into serious crimes against human health and abuse of position or authority.
As we find out, only one of the four orders of the Sarajevo Municipal Court has been implemented.
Today's activities refer, among other things, to the cases concerning the treatment of all patients who stayed in the KCUS from the opening of the COVID ward until its closure.
On June 11th, the lawyer of the Palić and Hota family, Damir Koldžo, filed a criminal report against Sebija Izetbegović, the director of KCUS.
The question is what the director general of KCUS is hiding and why the Prosecutor's Office did not exclude all documentation two months ago, when anesthesiologists wrote to the KCUS Management complaining about poor conditions in the treatment of COVID patients.
Especially after the suspicion that patient documentation is being falsified at KCUS in order to cover up the truth.
