Ambassador Dimitrios Papandreou has officially handed over today the Greek Government’s donation to Bosnia and Herzegovina of 120 000 COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccines, the Greek Embassy in BiH announced.

The donation was handed over in the presence of Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ankica Gudeljević and Assistant Minister for Health in the Ministry of Civil Affairs of B&H Dušan Kojić. This was in addition to a financial assistance for the three Clinic Centres in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sarajevo, Mostar and Banja Luka) in the overall amount of 130 000 EUR allocated just after the visit of the Greek Foreign Minister Nikolaos Dendias in March 2021, as a token of solidarity in our common struggle against the pandemic.

Greece has always attached a great importance to the local community and hence focused on the post-Dayton recovery of the health sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina by helping financially the reconstructions of the three major hospitals in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sarajevo, Mostar, East Sarajevo), the Greek Embassy in BiH announced.
