The trial of the Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalić and others in connection with the procurement of 100 ventilators worth 10,530,000 KM continued today before the Court of B&H.

At yesterday's hearing, the director of the Federal Directorate of Commodity Reserves and a member of the FB&H Civil Protection Staff, Tončo Bavrka, testified, who changed his statement during the hearing in relation to an earlier statement to the Prosecutor's Office of B&H.

Bavrka, who spoke about the way the Headquarters functioned at the beginning of the pandemic, said yesterday that at the session on April 1st last year, a decision was made to allocate five and then seven million KM for the purchase of protective equipment. He says that at that time it was not specified exactly what kind of equipment was in question, because it was left to experts from the Ministry of Health, ie the Institute for Public Health of FB&H. About the first problems with the procurement of 100 disputed ventilators from China, Bavrka said yesterday that he found out around April 20, when some of them were delivered to Sarajevo.

Bavrka could not answer numerous questions precisely, because "he could not remember what was said at the coffee, what at the sessions, what happened before, and what happened after the delivery of the ventilators."
