FB&H Crisis Staff extends orders and recommendations for another 14 days

The cantonal governments, i.e. the cantonal headquarters of the ministries of health, were ordered to introduce more restrictive measures according to the assessment of the epidemiological situation

The Government of the Federation of B&H took note of the information on the epidemiological situation with the Covid-19 pandemic in the FB&H on October 21, 2021, and adopted the proposed orders and recommendations of the Crisis Staff of the FB&H Ministry of Health.

The orders and recommendations of the Crisis Staff are issued with a validity period of 14 days, starting from October 21, 2021.

Before the end of this deadline, this headquarters is in charge of reviewing the complete epidemiological situation of in the FB&H and making a risk assessment, in order to consider the possibility and need to change orders and recommendations, and submit a proposal to the FB&H Government.

The cantonal governments, i.e. the cantonal headquarters of the ministries of health, were ordered to introduce more restrictive measures according to the assessment of the epidemiological situation in the cantons, and the municipalities, with regular reporting to the Crisis Staff of the FB&H Ministry of Health.

According to the information, the Federation of B&H is still recording a high level of SARS-CoV-2 virus transmission in the 41st week. However, compared to the previous week, there was a decline in all weekly indicators. A very high level of transmission was recorded in three cantons (Sarajevo, Tuzla and Herzegovina-Neretva), while a high level of transmission was recorded in Bosnia-Podrinje.

At the FB&H level, the seven-day incidence is 101.5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, and so far 843,761 doses of covid-19 vaccine have been given, of which 462,233 were vaccinated with the first dose and 381,528 with the second.
