Members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) are carrying out actions this morning on the order of the SC Prosecutor's Office with the aim of arresting the killers of two Sarajevo police officers, Adis Šehović and Davor Vujinović.
Searches are underway at several locations in East Sarajevo and Pale. The police station in Pale is also being searched.
According to the information that "Avaz" has, no one has been arrested or detained. The first suspect, Aleksandar Macan, who is the son-in-law of war crimes indictee Milomir Savčić, was not found at the address. Savčić fled B&H to Serbia three months ago.
As for Macan, he has previously been linked to the car mafia, but has not been in Bosnia and Herzegovina for more than two years. Allegedly, he was supposed to return to B&H a few days ago, which is why the action was prepared.
He allegedly fled to Spain, but there is no official confirmation yet.
The apartment of his wife, Marijana Savčić Macan, was searched. She is employed by the RS Ministry of the Interior, at the Pale police station.
