FB&H Assistant Minister of Health Marina Bera said that information on the epidemiological situation was discussed at the session of the Government of the Federation of B&H today, and that new orders of the Crisis Staff were adopted.
As she said, from December 20 people will have to show a digital or paper certificate proving they have been fully vaccinated, or have tested negative for coronavirus or recovered from the virus.
- It has already become a practice in other countries, and we have enough vaccines that we can increase the number of vaccinated in a short time - she said.
Bera pointed out that they ordered the cantons to provide conditions for that in the coming period.
- This means that they should increase the number of vaccination points and enable the greatest possible availability of vaccines, as well as increase the number of points for testing - she said.
The certificates, she added, will be introduced primarily for all employees in the health, social protection sector and for all employees in the administration at all levels of government.
She claims that there are people who cannot be vaccinated due to health reasons and that they will be allowed to come to work without such a certificate.
Assistant Minister Bera claims that it is estimated that the FBiH has a high level of transmission and that the incidence is 146.4 cases per 100,000 people. The number of hospitalized increased by seven percent. She also added that the number vaccinated with the first dose is 27 percent and 24 percent of fully vaccinated.
