The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, spoke on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica.

Michel wrote on Twitter that 27 years have passed since the genocide in Srebrenica, one of the darkest events in modern European history.

- Our hearts and thoughts are with the victims and their families. This tragic anniversary is also a reminder: we must keep working together for peace in Europe and for Bosnia and Herzegovina to become part of the EU - wrote Michel.
