The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the proposal of the Prosecutor's Office, abolished the custody of Nedeljko Lubura, the chief inspector of the RS MUP, who was arrested last week on suspicion of having smuggled a dangerous criminal on the Interpol wanted list, Ivan Mijatović, a citizen of Montenegro, in the trunk of an official vehicle.

House arrest

Detention was also lifted for the arrested Bojan Roguljić, who arranged for Mijatović to be transferred from Slovenia to Bosnia and Herzegovina, in an official vehicle of the MUP of the RS via the Stara Gradiška border crossing.

Lubura and Roguljić confessed the criminal offense for which they are suspected and are under house arrest. Their criminal activities were exposed by an investigation into the Sky app.

From the deciphered messages in the possession of "Avaz", it was established that Mijatović also used forged documents in the name of Žarko Mlinarević, and it was discovered where this member of the "Šljakarski clan" was hiding and that his transfer to BiH was organized with the aim of protecting him from arrest.

Namely, from the conversations conducted via Sky, it was established that the suspect Roguljić organized the transfer of Mijatović from the territory of Spain to BiH because they learned that in that country in 2020 a large number of people involved in the trade in narcotic drugs were arrested.

In one of the messages sent at the beginning of December 2020, Roguljić writes to Mijatović on Sky: "The Spanish police rose up there. Go, brother, go from Spain. Before New Year's Eve, everyone will be arrested in Spain. The police is on their feet!”

A few days later, on December 8th to be exact, Roguljić, together with two other people, traveled to Spain to pick up Mijatović, from where they arrived in Slovenia in a Porsche with German license plates. They continued their journey to Bosnia and Herzegovina in an official vehicle of the MUP of the RS.

Vehicle inspection

It is interesting that on December 13, 2020, Roguljić organized an inspection of Mijatović's Porsche in order to determine the possible presence of GPS and listening devices installed by the police, and then arranged a meeting with Inspector Lubura, who smuggled Mijatović out of Slovenia in an official vehicle of the MUP of the RS BiH through the Stara Gradiška border crossing.

Lubura carried out all these actions on December 16th, even though he knew that Mijatović was wanted by Interpol and that he had false documents in a different name. In addition, Lubura did not have an order for an official trip abroad, nor did Minister Dragan Lukač know anything about it. He took an unspecified amount of money for these actions.

Document verification

Nedeljko Lubura also checked whether the documents issued in the name of Žarko Mlinarević were still valid, i.e. whether they were possibly canceled and whether there was a search for a person of that identity, which is evident from the communications made via Sky Ecca, according to the Prosecution documents.
