After SBB President Fahrudin Radončić publicly requested, and the Club of SBB MPs in the FBiH Parliament launched an initiative according to which the Federal Government should return the collected 1.6 billion in direct and indirect taxes to the impoverished people and the economy, affected by the severe socioeconomic situation, at least one billion KM, today the government of Fadil Novalić expressed its determination to establish a financial aid program for unemployed persons within the budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the year 2022.
- SBB is glad that Novalić's government took the first step in fulfilling the requirements from the initiative of the Savez za bolju budućnost BiH, but that is by no means enough. Especially since in the Government's determination to help the unemployed, neither the deadlines nor the amounts of the planned assistance can be read - the SBB points out
We remind you that in the explanation of the initiative of the SBB MPs Club, it is requested that the budget rebalancing should enable the FBiH Government to pay at least 100 KM to each recipient of the minimum pension or to provide a voucher in the amount of 100 KM per month to facilitate the payment of overhead costs.
If it is known that there are 300,000 pensioners, this package would amount to less than 100 million KM. Citizens would also be helped if, in the absence of the will to abolish excise duty on fuel, it would be subsidized with 30 million marks per month, which amounts to at least 90 to 100 million KM by the New Year. This would reduce the price for the final consumer.
It is necessary to provide 200 KM monthly long-term assistance for 150,000 unemployed persons, which is a total of about 100 million KM by the end of 2022 - it was stated in the initiative of the Club of SBB MPs in the FBiH Parliament, SBB announced.
