At the proposal of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at today's session in Sarajevo, expressed its determination to establish a financial assistance program for unemployed persons within the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2022.
This will be done by amending or supplementing the Regulation on assistance to the population due to the increase in the consumer price index. The Prime Minister's Office is in charge of preparing an amendment to this regulation for the next session of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The government tasked the Federal Employment Agency, the Federal Ministry for War Veterans and Invalids and the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy to prepare, within five days, a list of unemployed persons from the records of employment services as of August 31, 2022. year, and from which persons who have exercised their rights based on Chapter III and Chapter IV of the Regulation on assistance to the population due to the rise in the consumer price index will be excluded.
The financial resources required for the implementation of this measure will be provided within the FBiH Budget for 2022.
The Federal Ministry of Finance is responsible for ensuring, through the redistribution of funds between budget users, a sufficient amount of funds in the current reserve of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the implementation of the assistance program for unemployed persons.
