An MP in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović (SDP) proposed at today's session that an item related to the migrant crisis be included in the agenda, but his proposal did not receive the required number votes of the delegates.

Bećirović points out that today's session of the House of Peoples is a "fake work", because the delegates mostly dealt with the mass of reports from 2019, while the most serious issues for the state of B&H were not on the agenda, such as measures to resolve the migrant crisis, vaccination against coronavirus, the budget for 2021 and other existential issues for the citizens of B&H.

He was criticized by his colleagues from SNSD because he said that a migrant center should be built in the yard of the Chairman of the Presidency of B&H and SNSD leader, Milorad Dodik.

-This is where the migrant camp should be opened, because Dodik obstructs all measures and does not allow BiH Armed Forces to help the state border service, and he and his party do not allow the strengthening of the state border service and they are most responsible for the escalation of the migrant crisis- he concluded.
