Britanska akademija za film i televiziju objavila je nominacije za nagrade u 2022. godini među kojima trijumfiraju filmovi "Dina" s 11, "The Power of the Dog" s osam i Belfast sa šest nominacija. Film "Dina" pokupio je nominacije većinom u tehničkim kategorijama, no nominiran je i za najbolji film. U toj kategoriji u konkurenciji su i "Belfast", "Don't Look Up", "Licorice Pizza" i "The Power of the Dog".

Lejdi Gaga (Lady Gaga) i Bendikt Kamberbač (Benedict Cumberbatch) borit će se za nagrade za najbolje glumce i glumice, zajedno s Kodi Smit Mekfi (McPhee), Arianom DeBose i Adil Aktar (Adeel Akhtar).

Ono što je zanimljivo jest da je film "Spencer" koji je dobio pohvale na Venecijanskom filmskom festivalu krajem prošle godine - ostao bez nominacija! Fanovi su šokirani i frustrirani, a nije tajna kako je Vilija, (William), vojvoda od Kembridža (Cambridge), predsjednik je BAFTA-e od 2010. godine.

U filmu "Spencer" Dajanu glumi Kristen Stjuart (Stewart), a prinčeve Džek Nilen (Jack Nielen) i Fredi Spri (Freddie Spry).
